We asked ourselves what you need as a biker*in to feel comfortable with us. We could abbreviate the matter at this point and write "we have EVERYTHING you need", but we like to draw a few pictures in your head: You start the day totally refreshed, because the high-quality mattress and the fresh alpine air have let you sleep peacefully. You continue with the perfect biker breakfast, rich in lots of valuable things from our garden or from our cow on the alp. The chain still needs to be oiled? In our bike garage you will find everything for (almost) effortless bike turns. While the bike instructors of the Swiss Bike School show you the coolest trails in the Bernese Oberland, gourmet chef Richard Stöckli tinkers with the evening menu.

Biker region
We hate to bluff, but Wilderswil near Interlaken is the perfect starting point in the Bernese Oberland for your biking adventure: compact, diverse, environmentally friendly. While in the mountain villages every tour starts mercilessly steep, we still have the choice: short and crisp, long and leisurely or still sightseeing in Interlaken. Also for the surrounding mountain and lake landscape only superlatives come into question. Whether you are a freerider, downhiller, e-biker or lake circumnavigator: the bike instructors of the Swiss Bike School will make your biking day in the Bernese Oberland perfect.

Luxury means, besides health, to be served a delicious cappuccino with frothed milk in the morning, while the biketeacher kneads his calves warm and plans a tour for you with the most beautiful trails and the most phenomenal view. From mid-June to mid-September we offer you tailor-made bike tours and courses on a private basis. You have the needs, we have the ideas and together we have a lot of fun!

The e-bike opens up new horizons. Thanks to assistance while riding, you can experience new freedoms. However, the higher weight and motor assistance require an adapted riding style. We offer special e-bike riding safety courses at over 50 locations in Switzerland so that you can reach your destination safely and enjoy your e-bike ride to the full.

Day 1: We meet at 9:15 am at the Hotel Alpenblick in Wilderswil. We discuss the day over a wonderfully frothy cappuccino. In the nearby Rugenwald forest, we will focus on the following topics: E-MTB theory section, balance, skill, braking, cornering technique, uphill flow, downhill, tips and tricks for E-MTB.
Day 2: We believe that leisure time should be fun and needs-oriented. You give us your time, we give you maximum flexibility. On today's tour, we apply what we learned the day before. We either go to the sunny plateau of Mürren, to Kleine Scheidegg at the foot of the Eiger, to Blueme or we circle Lake Brienz. In the best case scenario, this weekend ends as it began: with a frothy cappuccino.

Let it be said right from the start: for ambitious e-bikers, there is hardly a more beautiful tour in the Bernese Oberland than this one. Not least because of the phenomenal view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau triumvirate. From Wilderswil, we first ride leisurely along the Lütschine. There are a few "poisonous" climbs between Zweilütschinen and Grindelwald.

There are many reasons why you can trust the Swiss Bike School (SBS).
