Posted on TripAdvisor Joan WVerified GRJ - Jungfrau Express: Excellent hotel. GRI All-Inclusive Jungfrau Express: Location: Hotel Alpenblick—very good, with great food and exquisite interior. The hotel’s atmosphere is very good. Rooms are good. Good value for money. Deborah is an excellent tour advisor. One important point to note: please remove the 6 picnic lunches and replace them with, say, sausage rolls or a quiche with a salad in a container. Thank you.Posted on TripAdvisor JTVerified GRJ All-Inclusive Jungfrau Express Excellent Tour The Alpenblick Hotel in Wilderswil, Switzerland, is in a great location. The staff were polite and helpful; nothing was too much trouble for them. The evening meal, which offered different choices every night, was very good and included free wine. The hotel provided a packed lunch—a choice of sandwiches, a piece of cake, fruit, and bottles of sparkling or still water. This was the only downside, as the sandwiches weren’t very appetizing. Our bedroom was bright and airy, very clean, and the bathroom and shower facilities were good. Our welcoming tour guide, Deborah Foreman, was outstanding—she answered any questions we had and provided plenty of information about the hotel and the places we were going to visit. I couldn’t fault her.Posted on TripAdvisor Paul RVerified A Fantastic Experience. What a lovely family-run hotel in such a great location. Our hosts and staff were very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The food was excellent, freshly prepared, and plentiful, with plenty of choices. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.Posted on TripAdvisor Ken McintoshVerified Stunning views, amazing food, friendly staff. A lovely hotel just a 10-minute walk from Wilderswil railway station, which connects to all the main attractions in the Jungfrau region. Rooms are comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially in the group dining room and at the front desk. What I found outstanding was the quality of the food; the Michelin star was clearly evident in the flavors and presentation. Breakfasts were continental-style, with a selection of coffees, homemade breads, cold cuts, cheeses, and cereals. Dinner was largely exceptional, with an amazing selection of salad starters, homemade soups, and delicious meat dishes and sauces. Vegetarian options were also available. The house wine served with dinner was plentiful and of good quality. Little extra touches such as birthday cakes, a fondue night in the main restaurant, and an aperitif in the garden were all lovely surprises. The owner, Yvonne, goes the extra mile to ensure a trouble-free and enjoyable stay for all guests—thank you.Posted on TripAdvisor Roger BVerified Looking for a place to stay? Look no further What a wonderful experience. The hotel is 400 years old. It had a great family atmosphere. The owners and staff went above and beyond for us. The room was cleaned regularly to a high standard. Breakfast and dinner were truly excellent. Located in a lovely area, we couldn’t have asked for more. I highly recommend this hotel. Well done.Posted on TripAdvisor Sian BVerified My favorite place to stay This was my second visit, and it didn't disappoint. Yvonne (the owner) was friendly and welcoming, making sure everyone had a wonderful time. The rooms were spotless, the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The hotel is located just a few minutes from the local bus stops and about 10 minutes from the train station. This 400-year-old hotel is situated in a quiet village surrounded by mountains—the views are breathtaking.Posted on TripAdvisor WALLASEY55Verified Lovely Swiss Chalet-Style Hotel Alovely hotel intypical Swiss chaletstyle. We stayed in the annex, which featured a spacious double room with an en suite bathroom and a large outdoor balcony furnished with a table and chairs, offering views of the Mönch and Jungfrau. It’s a very peaceful location, just a 15-minute walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the bus stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food consisted of a set menu each day, featuring five courses, and was generally of a very high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.Posted on TripAdvisor Sue MVerified Switzerland Absolutely wonderful. We had a room on the third floor of the house with a skylight. It’s not ideal if you’re tall because of the sloping ceiling, but since I’m shorter, it was lovely to see the mountains during the day and the stars at night—there was no light pollution. We were well taken care of and the food was delicious. We got a packed lunch every day. Even though it was very busy, the staff were always very helpful.Posted on TripAdvisor Shaun DVerified Excellent food and service My wife and I traveled as part of a group from the UK to visit the Jungfrau region, also known as the Top of Europe. The area is a premier Swiss alpine destination, and this hotel is conveniently located near everything you need. Excellent food and service

They really take good care of the guests; the owner herself comes over to greet you. The food was fantastic; they accommodated my celiac disease, at least for the main course. My husband had to enjoy the chef’s special on his own two nights in a row because, unfortunately, no gluten-free bread was served, even though we had specified this when making the reservation and explicitly requested it. But the subsequent courses were adjusted and were very tasty. The only downside was our room, which was in the adjacent building—unfortunately, it was extremely noisy. You could hear every step the other guests took; next to our bathroom, there was presumably another bathroom separated only by a door, which also meant we could hear everything there. The mattresses were quite worn out, which unfortunately compromised the quality of sleep. But that’s just nitpicking—it’s the only negative thing we noticed and that actually bothered us. Otherwise, kudos again to the entire Alpenblick team—you’re doing a really great job.Posted on Google C. V.Trustindex verifies whether the original source of the review is Google. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is housed in a traditional Bernese Oberland building dating back about 400 years; it is well-maintained and clean. The front desk staff welcomed us and explained everything perfectly. The rooms are of average size and equipped with every comfort. The only drawback is the limited number of outlets in the room. But you just have to be organized. The hotel is in a great location; for those who want to take walks through the woods, it’s possible to reach Interlaken on foot. In any case, Interlaken is about an 8-minute drive away. Additionally, there’s a train station within walking distance. The breakfast buffet is well-stocked, offering both sweet and savory options to satisfy guests of all nationalities staying at the hotel. There is ample outdoor parking. Regarding entry after 10:00 PM, you will be given a key card to open the main door. Upon arrival, you will also be given a pass that allows you to use public transportation to reach Interlaken. Highly recommended!Posted on Google EllenTrustindex verifies whether the original source of the review is Google. A wonderfully cozy hotel in Swiss style. I feel right at home here, and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. Delicious breakfast featuring local products and cheese from their own cows. The half-board dinner was also very tasty. The cheese platter served as an extra side is fantastic. In short, it’s a great place to relax in a laid-back atmosphere surrounded by beautiful scenery.Posted on Google Marjolein de GroodtTrustindex verifies whether the original source of the review is Google. A beautiful, authentic Swiss hotel. The staff are incredibly hospitable—they’ll go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. It’s in a fantastic, central location for exploring the area. Plus, it’s within walking distance of the train station and bus stops. The breakfast was delicious, and the dinner included in the half-board package was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back soon!! Thank you, Alpenblick ♥️Posted on Google Paweł SteckiTrustindex verifies whether the original source of the review is Google. A fantastic place! You can really feel the mountain atmosphere here. The rustic wood-paneled decor, the homey atmosphere, and the fantastic breakfast buffet featuring local products are simply wonderful. The restaurant on the ground floor also serves delicious meals. The room has been renovated, and there’s a kitchen in the first-floor hallway equipped with a kettle and all the necessary dishes. We were thrilled! We’d love to come back! This accommodation is an ideal starting point for mountain hikes. Highly recommended!Posted on Google Tim MuirheadTrustindex verifies whether the original source of the review is Google.
