A perfect holiday in the Bernese Oberland.
Hotel is situated in the beautiful village of Wilderwil, an easy, 10minute walk from the station. From the station you can go up the valley to Kleine Sheidegg, and on to Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald, or to Interlaken the other direction. Trains are frequent thoughout the day, in both directions. The hotel is built in the classic, Alpine, wooden style. with a very pleasant terrace outside the front of the hotel ; perfect for a drink at the end of the day. The staff were always extremely helpful........ nothing too much trouble. The food was excellent........ with a packed lunch being supplied every day. Traditional Swiss chalet hotel.
We stayed here with Great Rail Journeys as part of an escorted tour. The hotel is a traditional Swiss chalet located in a pretty village with good rail connections for excursions. The rooms are comfortable and the food is excellent.

Lovely traditional hotel
