For Richard Stöckli, almost everything revolves around cooking and eating. No matter what time of day or night, whether at home or elsewhere, because "food is the pleasure of life".

Yvonne Stöckli tells us: Richard Stöckli is a passionate cook. For him, almost everything revolves around food.

After a short sleep, during which he sometimes comes up with new menu creations, the daily "trappings" are gone through when he gets up. This is so varied that I note down the most important points with a "notepad". Then it's on to the phone calls, meetings and all the planned work that is packed around the cooking. Cooking is Richard's absolute passion. As he tries new dishes, he sinks his teeth into flavor subtleties, small details and visual creations. Health components are an important factor here. In his free time, in addition to "mushrooming," he also picks berries and wild herbs. The common kitchen herbs grow in the own garden.

No vacation without A4 pad (it must be big, he hates my notebook economy). He writes down and sketches all ideas. Usually everything is then so firmly anchored in his memory that he no longer needs the pad. When he's out with a like-minded cooking colleague, you'd think he was cooking in his head. Being able to enjoy top-quality products cooked to the right stage with the perfect spices is one of the best experiences. However, he also enjoys being served a simple meal. That's the moment when he's simply happy not to cook himself for a change.
